The speaker for the session was Dr Elissa Ladd, Associate Professor, MGH Institute of Health Professions, Boston.
Dr Elissa Ladd explained the importance of following the standards and protocols and focused more on Joint Commission 中国体育彩票app下载 guidelines which includes international Patient Safety Standard guidelines. She has demonstrated this with lots of examples and videos on: Identify patients correctly, improve effective communication, improve the safety of high alert medications, ensure correct site, correct procedure, and correct patient surgery, and reduce the risk of health care associated infection and reduction of patient harm resulting from falls.?

Dr Ladd also conducted the group activity and asked them to present the challenges and suggestions to implement the standards. Around 120 participants attended the programme including the Assistant Nursing Superintendents, postgraduate students from School of Management and students of 中国体育彩票app下载 College of Nursing 中国体育彩票app下载.
