She discussed the various aspects of Cost Effectiveness and Cost Accounting in Nursing Service Administration including the types and the process of cost management in the nursing service department. She also emphasized the importance of nurses’ involvement in Cost management planning, which facilitates the empowerment of nurses in financial planning and management. Mrs. Saroja Jaykumar shared her experience of Cost management and emphasized the need for sound clinical experience for nurse administrators.
