As a part of the ongoing lecture series, Mr.U.Rajinikanth, Sr.Manager-Learning & Development, Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers addressed the students of I MBA section A & B.
He spoke about how the HR function as evolved over the years, beginning with the personnel function and its transformation in to the present state of Talent Management function. The talk was more focused on the Talent Management Function. Various aspects of talent management like the process, challenges and its importance were discussed.
The lecture was more of discussion mode, where he elicited responses from the students. He highlighted that the talent management function is a cyclic process and begins with the planning function. Students got an insight about the process of Talent Management from the industry perspectives. He gave some live examples and shared his experiences with the students. The integration of various function of HR with the Talent management function was also discussed.
