Operations Club 'Op-Notch' was inaugurated on 17 August 2017 by Prof. Raghunath Rudran

The event was conducted to welcome the new members of the club for the year 2017-18 and introduce the club activities. Prof. Raghunath Rudran, Head of Department – 中国体育彩票app下载 Promotion at TAPMI, was invited as the chief guest and the event was presided over by the director of School of Management, Dr.Raveendranath Nayak. The programme commenced with escorting of the dignitaries to the dais followed by a prayer and the national anthem. With an introductory talk welcoming the members, faculty and the dignitaries, the programme moved to lighting the lamp by the chief guest, Prof. Raghunath Rudran, the director, Dr.Raveendranath Nayak, faculty advisor of the club, Dr. Yogesh Pai P, President of OpNotch, Mr. Ruskinarxon Shah and Vice-president of OpNotch, Mr. Karthik S Kotian. The programme moved to an introduction of the chief guest by Dr. Deepika Thiyagarajan, Joint Secretary of OpNotch and introduction of OpNotch by Mr. Ruskinarxon Shah with a new logo being launch for the club. Prof. Rudran was then invited to the dais to share his thoughts and experiences in Operations Management. Prof. Rudran spoke on the evolution of the Operations domain from being a purely manufactural science to what it is today.?Dr. Raveendranath Nayak spoke encouragingly on the endeavors of the club and wished the club a successful year ahead. The vote of thanks was delivered by Ms. Anchal Purohit, executive member of OpNotch and the gathering then dispersed for refreshments, bringing the inaugural event to a close. The event ceremonies were conducted by Ms. Swathi Kotni, Treasurer of OpNotch. Event co-ordination by Hitesh, Shivani Pande, Sonia and Praveen, executive members of OpNotch, was instrumental in making the programme a success.
