MAHE-ISAC Certified Forensics Investigator - Overview
MAHE-ISAC Certified Forensics Investigator?is a 24 hours basic instructor-led program that provides essential training on?handling investigations with Windows and Linux systems. Participants can gain real-world forensic investigation skills with hands-on labs fully hosted on the cloud from Cyberange.

- Understanding Hard Disks and File Systems (NTFS & Ext4)
- Data Acquisition: Imaging and Cloning
- File Systems Analysis using TSK
- Windows Forensics
- Anti-forensics and Anti-anti-forensics
- Volatile Memory Forensics
- Linux Forensics
- Email and Drone Forensics
- Password Recovery
If participants miss any lectures, they can always see the recordings that will be made available on the e-learning platform. Details of the portal will be provided once live sessions begin.
Assignments and Examination: Weekly assignments, lab, and research work are part of the program to enhance understanding. At the end of the course, one can take the MICFI online exam(50 Multiple choice questions) to earn the certificate.
The course is conducted through online live sessions with one batch every one month/two months
ICFI batch 04 inaugural session on 4th September at 7:00 pm. Instructor-led module sessions scheduled for the next batch will be held on the following dates from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM:
September 2022: 05, 07, 09, 12, 14, 16, 17, 19, 21, 23?
Timing:- 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm
