Program Specific Outcomes

Graduates will

  • Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, and an engineering specialization to critically solve the complex engineering problems related to robotics, and industrial automation with high level of confidence.
  • Design solutions for robotic and industrial automation processes that are incomplete with an understanding of its limitations, continuous improvement with consideration of public health, safety, cultural, societal, and environmental impacts.?
  • Use research-based knowledge to analyze the complex problems, critically review technical literature, and formulate the design solution to reach valid conclusions.
  • Integrate the experiential learning gained from sensors, drives, automation, and embedded system development, to manage industry-based application projects in private and public divisions.
  • Deliver project work using modern technologies and learn to effectively document, write reports, scientific articles and prepare presentations to be able to communicate effectively with the engineering community and society at large.
  • Create, select, and apply appropriate computational and quantitative techniques, resources, hardware, and software tools/platform to predict and model the complex engineering problems related to robotics and embedded system design.
  • Appreciate and understand the importance of roles and responsibilities of Professional engineers, Professional and ethical responsibilities of engineers, and of social and commercial environments in which they work.
