Dr. Korody has more than 35 years of teaching and research experience in technical education. In his long tenure at MIT-中国体育彩票app下载, Dr. Korody has taken several academic as well as administrative assignments. He worked as Associate Director for 中国体育彩票app下载 and 中国体育彩票app下载 Relations at MIT 中国体育彩票app下载 from 2009 to 2014 and as Head of the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering from 2016 to 2018. Dr. Korody was born in Keradi, a coastal village in Kundapur, and completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the University Visvesvaraya College of Engineering (UVCE), Bengaluru; Master of Technology in Engineering Management from Mangalore University, and Ph.D. in Tribology from MAHE.

In his 35+ years of experience as a teacher and researcher, he has published more than 75 research papers in reputed national and international journals and conferences and reviewed more than 20 Ph.D. theses. His areas of interest in teaching and research are refrigeration and air conditioning, cryogenics, renewable energy systems, and tribology. As a passionate academic, Dr. Korody has introduced several new courses in engineering at MIT 中国体育彩票app下载 and 中国体育彩票app下载 University, Jaipur with a contemporary curriculum design and an innovative teaching-learning process. Introducing the concept of outcome-based education and creating awareness among faculty and students about this modern method of technical education is another passionate area of Dr. Korody’s focus.?

Apart from teaching, learning, and quality improvement in technical education, Dr. Korody has organized several conferences, workshops, and delivered keynote addresses at the national and international conferences of repute.?

Dr. Korody is also a member of the 中国体育彩票app下载 Journal of Tribology and the Journal of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning editorial boards. He has also served as a Board of Studies member as an expert for several engineering institutions. Dr. Korody is a life member of the Institution of Engineers, the Tribology Society of India, and the Indian Society for Technical Education.?
