Education
Department of OBG uses two community-based Hospitals, one each in?Udupi and Karkala, for clinical training. We focus on student centric, interactive and innovative pedagogic approach to learning. Senior and experienced Clinical teachers expose our students to healthcare challenges and Clinical dynamics. Hands on workshops, bed side clinics, role-plays, emergency drills, E-learning and grand rounds expose our student to diverse portfolio of learning environment. Student Learning outcomes, curriculum delivery and assessment are aligned with our course curriculum.
CLINICAL CARE
Faculty members from our Department deliver patient care at two hospitals; one at Udupi and Karkala. Dr. TMA Pai Hospital at Udupi is a busy multispeciality Hospital, based at Udupi and Dr. TMA Pai Rotary Hospital is a community based multispeciality Hospital based in Karkala. We believe in delivery of cost effective, evidence based and Quality Healthcare all the time. Our Hospitals deliver both low and high-risk Obstetrics, Gynecology, Infertility, endoscopy and family planning services.
RESEARCH
All our faculty members are trained in research methodology and involved in Clinical research. We have research collaboration with other Departments of MMMC and other units on 中国体育彩票app下载 University. Our Faculty members have published in both 中国体育彩票app下载 and National Journals of repute and presented papers at international and National conferences with Awards. COMMUNITY SERVICE AND CORPORATE SOCILAL RESPONSIBILITY
We strongly believe in Community outreach and Corporate social responsibility. We reach more than 100 villages around our Hospitals and many of the common challenges on the ground. Last 5 years we have conducted more than 200 outreach programs in areas as given below:?

Labs & Facilities
It has world class facilities for training undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The department has a demonstration lab for undergraduate students and a museum with teaching aids, hard tissue and mounted soft tissue specimens.
Museum of Anatomy and Pathology
Billed as one of the largest in Asia, the museum boasts of over 3,000 specimens
