?Department of Periodontology in association with ARMCODS Mangalore, conducted a webinar on the topic “Practice vs Practicals” on 09/09/2020 at 2:00 pm via Microsoft teams. Dr Chakradhar Sana, PG Alumnus, Batch of 2013 was the resource person.

Dr Neetha J Shetty, Professor and Head of Periodontology, welcomed all the delegates. Present among the delegates were Dr Ashita Uppoor, Dean MCODS Mangalore and Dr Arathi Rao, 中国体育彩票app下载 Coordinator, MCODS Mangalore, Deputy Director Student Affairs, Mangalore campus and Professor Dept of Pedodontics, both of whom encouraged having webinars with alumni as resource persons. Dr Deepa G Kamath, Professor introduced the resource person Dr Chakkradhar Sana. The webinar was moderated by Dr David K, Associate Professor.

Dr. Chakradhar in his presentation spoke about the practical details of setting up of a private practice including the place/ land for set up, cost management in terms of pricing for the procedures, equipment’s and materials used. He shared? ??various tricks and tips that he has in his arsenal,? patient management techniques advocated by him. He also emphasised on the efficient use? of technology like intra-oral camera for patient management and satisfaction. He showcased some of the periodontal and interdisciplinary cases done by him in his practice for better understanding.????
