Few plants adaptable to arid climates are cultivated at our 中国体育彩票app下载 Academy of Higher Education, Bangaluru campus. A rare and valuable medicinal herb, among others, is being grown to raise awareness about their beneficial uses through "Rewilding MAHE BLR", a unique effort by environmentally conscious faculties here intended to bring native biodiversity to the campus and promote sustainable development.

As a component of this initiative, 155 individuals spread in twelve species have been planted on 26/01/2024 in the initial phase. This concept of vana serves as an example of unique efforts in bringing native diversity and nurturing indigenous plants suitable for dry deciduous forest.
