中国体育彩票app下载 Law School, MAHE Bengaluru campus celebrated the 中国体育彩票app下载 Human Rights Day on December 10, 2022 by organising a workshop on Cyber Law and Cyber Crime Investigation with the purpose of making the participants aware of their rights in an unfortunate event of becoming a victim of cybercrime. The workshop was also an attempt to make known the process of how investigation is carried on by different agencies and to analyse the roles of the various agencies involved. The invited guests represented different agencies that are responsible for investigating cyber- crime. The main speaker at the Workshop was Mr. Abhilash Malhotra, Additional District Judge and Sessions Judge and the Joint Registrar (Judicial) of Delhi High Court. The other speakers included Mr. Mahesh Vaidya, Public Prosecutor and Legal Advisor to the CID, Karnataka Police, Mr. Yashwanth Kumar, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime Division of Bengaluru Police. Mr. Navneet Chugh, Attorney-at-Law and Managing Partner of Indian Lawyers Association at California, USA addressed the gathering through online mode.?

The speakers elaborately explained the process of how investigations are carried out by the agencies. The students were very eager to know how to protect themselves from various types of cyber crimes happening. The speakers discussed different aspects of the crime and also preventive methods.
