Overview
Program description
To make proficient genomic counselors with generous knowledge of medical genetics and genomics who would assist families with genetic disorders to understand and adapt to the medical, clinical, psychological, and familial implications of genomic influences on disease.
Focus
Our focus is to facilitate our student’s development of a patient-centered approach to genomic counseling by practice including clinical rotation for different specialties, advanced research and development, awareness about ethical and legal frameworks in the field of genomics, industry and academics, as well as the ability to anticipate and adapt to future developments in the dynamic field of medical genomics.

After successful completion of MSc Genomic Counseling program candidates can work in the following settings:
